A few pieces of green synthetic jadeite jade stone are studied by using X-ray powder diffraction, polarizing microscope, EPMA, infrared reflectance spectrum, and laser Raman spectrum. The results show that the synthetic jadeite jade stone is composed of crystalline and glassy materials. The crystalline materials in a little amount are prismatic jadeite jade, and the compositions of glassy material nearly correspond to that of jadeite and are higher in w(SiO₂) and w(Al₂O₃), lower in w(Na₂O). The textures of the synthetic jadeite jade stone are more simple than that of the natural jadeite jade.
