This invention proposes a method for manufacturing synthetic jadeite material. It involves refining offcut fragments of natural jadeite, followed by magnetic separation to remove magnetic black or dark-colored substances within the jadeite powder. Chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃, mass fraction < 1%) and a lead-free, colorless glass binder (mass fraction 1–10%) are added. After batching, the mixture is homogenized in a mixing machine and subjected to low-temperature high-energy ball milling. The resulting powder is then pre-pressed into a compact, which is placed in a spark plasma sintering (SPS) furnace for consolidation. The sintering temperature range is 850°C to 1200°C, under a pressure of 15–20 kN. This process enables efficient use of increasingly scarce natural jadeite resources by bonding natural polycrystalline jadeite aggregates without altering the crystal structure, resulting in synthetic jadeite material with large size and high transparency.
