Simulating the natural formation principles of jadeite, this study uses an optimized synthesis process to transform amorphous jadeite-component powder into crystalline jadeite under high temperature and high pressure. Some of the resulting synthetic jadeite exhibits a fine, smooth texture and uniform color, achieving qualities comparable to high-grade natural jadeite. X-ray diffraction (XRD) phase analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) reveal that the synthesized samples consist of jadeite with good crystallinity, fine grains, and a dense, orderly interwoven structure. Raman spectroscopy shows that the characteristic Raman peaks of the synthetic jadeite align with those of natural jadeite, with sharp spectral lines indicating a high degree of crystallinity. The basic gemological parameters of the synthetic jadeite—such as hardness, density, and thermal stability—are also similar to those of natural jadeite. The study further finds that, within the experimental temperature and pressure ranges, temperature has a significant effect on the growth and structural organization of jadeite crystals.
