The study on the mechanism of synthetic jadeite jade formation was carried out using solid-state reactions of chemical materials under high pressure and high temperature. The synthetic samples produced in the experiment were analyzed using X-ray powder diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, and a polarizing microscope. The results showed that the main crystal phase in the synthetic jadeite jade samples was jadeite, and that the gemmological characteristics of the synthetic jadeite jade were very similar to those of natural jadeite.
