Examines structural and lithological controls on emerald distribution in Russia’s Malyshevskoe emerald–beryllium deposit. The study describes ore bodies and ore shoots, identifying longitudinal, transverse, and down-dip zoning within an ore zone dipping southward at approximately 50°. Statistical analysis demonstrates a close relationship between emerald content and the thickness of glimmerite veins, with emerald distribution following a lognormal pattern. Regression equations and a predictive longitudinal section are developed to assess emerald-bearing potential. Recovered emeralds are also classified by quality, color, and size.
