Recovering the original appearance of archaeological objects is one of the greatest challenges facing the restorer; participating in the conservation of cultural heritage for future generations, one of their highest purposes. The objects of the National Museum of Anthropology have a long history to tell, and the public will be able to understand them better after their restoration. One of the emblematic pieces in the museum’s Oaxaca gallery was once again subjected to intervention, 50 years after its discovery.
