Sinkankas: A worthy continuation of the pioneering work on inclusions by R. Blum, G. Leonhard, et al., 1854, which should be consulted, is the present large and important work that reflects the careful search of its author throughout the mineralogical literature. As a result, it reports on many new types of inclusions, both mineralic and organic in nature, many of which are based on his own observations. However, there are errors, such as the occurrence of gold in diamond, and numerous speculations, some of which were later confirmed, while others were disproved. Although references are noted, there is no bibliography, and one is forced to work back through the text to find full citations of works.
