Schuh: Very scarce. The earliest general bibliography of the subject listing among other topics geology and mineralogy. It was compiled as a preparation for the author's comprehensive work on the natural history of Switzerland, the first volume of which also appeared in 1716. It is arranged according to countries, including a section on America. The last section of the text contains a list of French writers on natural history, compiled by the famous bibliographer J. le Long [1665-1721].
